CITY OF SAN FERNANDO—The Angeles City police seized at least 162 kilos of dried marijuana worth at least P19 million in a buy-bust operation on Thursday (Oct. 29).
The contraband came in 155 bricks and 16 vacuum-sealed tubes found in the car of suspects Cris Ramos and Baby Girl Miguel, both residents of Cavite province, according to Col. Joyce Patrick Sangalang, Angeles City police director.

He said the suspects claimed they were paid to deliver the goods in Pampanga and Bulacan.
The sting operation, which was coordinated with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency, was conducted past 11 a.m. at the village of Malabanias. It was for a first delivery, Sangalang said.
A case for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 or Republic Act No. 9165 was filed against Ramos and Miguel at the prosecutor’s office.
